Professional Background
Dr. Garren earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1992 before completing medical school at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.
He completed his internship at Mount Carmel Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio, followed by his residency in Otolaryngology at the University of Colorado in Denver. He further advanced his clinical expertise through a post-doctoral research fellowship at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.
As a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), Dr. Garren upholds rigorous standards of surgical excellence, safety, and professional integrity in the field of Otolaryngology.

Personal Note
Born and raised in Canton, Ohio, Dr. Garren values community and family. He is married and part of a large blended family with four children and three stepchildren, and he is a proud grandfather.
Outside of the clinic, he enjoys hiking, spending time outdoors, sitting by the fire, watching sports (Buckeyes, Fighting Irish, Browns, and Guardians), as well as golfing, fishing, camping, and reading.
